Love Your Candle Guarantee
At Clean Fire, we want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. That’s why we offer a simple and customer-friendly return policy. If for any reason you’re not in love with your candle, we’ve got you covered.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange.
- Unburned Candles: You may return an unburned candle for a full refund (minus the original shipping cost).
- Burned Candles: We happily accept returns on burned candles. We will repurpose them, so there’s no waste. However, a 20% restocking fee will apply to cover handling and processing.
How Returns Work
- To start a return, please email us at cleanfirecandles@gmail.com. We’ll send you a return label and instructions.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs. Once we receive your return in good condition, we will process your refund or exchange.
- Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment within 5–10 business days after we receive your return.
Exchanges
If you’d prefer an exchange instead of a refund, we’re happy to help. Please email us and let us know which scent you’d like to exchange for. Exchanges are subject to availability.
Defective Candles
If your candle arrives with a defect (such as a wick that won’t stay lit or excessive tunneling), please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Include photos or a short video of the issue, and we’ll work with you to replace it or issue store credit. Scent strength is not considered a defect, as fragrance experience is personal.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or with missing items, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can resolve it quickly.
Lost Packages
If your package shows as delivered but you haven’t received it, please wait 3 business days before reaching out. Sometimes packages are delayed or delivered to the wrong address. If it still hasn’t arrived after 3 business days, email us and we’ll make it right.
